One to three star replies never post on their own. They wait for you to approve or edit them. Auto-posting for 4–5★ only runs after you turn it on, and you can turn it off. With email notifications enabled, new reviews arrive with a draft. When automatic posting is enabled, the scheduled-reply email tells you when it will post so you can edit or stop it. You also receive a copy when it posts.
